Her research focuses on improving the communication between patients or clients and their health care providers, including facilitating shared and informed decision-making processes and eHealth application to support this communication. My interest focuses on communication about health and health behaviours (e.g. smoking, alcohol & dietary consumption patterns) between patients & health professionals and in health care in general. I aim to improve such communication by means of psychological and organisational interventions (such a computer tailoring programmes). Additionally, I am also interested in Informed and Shared Decision Making processes and Adherence to both lifestyle and medical regimens.
