About

Bingtao Su obtained her bachelor degree in sociology with honors from Northwest A&F University, China in 2011. On the strength of her outstanding academic record, in the same year, she was chosen by her supervisor to enter into the post-graduate program of Northwest A&F University without entrance examination.

During the period of her postgraduate study, she published ten articles, with nine papers as the first author and one paper as the second author in good-quality journals, such as Journal of Areal Research and Development, Journal of Rural Economy, Research of Agricultural Modernization etc. The main focal point is to discuss the sustainable livelihood in rural areas and the surplus labors’ transfer in western China.

Since September 2014 she is a PhD Researcher at ICIS with the Chinese scholarship program, sponsored by Chinese Scholarship Council. She will conduct her research on the role of animals and nature in learning for sustainable development. Her research interests include sustainable development, the relationship between human and animals and the environment protection.
