Yusuf Can Semerci (Y.C.)

In January 2021, I joined the Department of Advanced Computing Sciences, at Maastricht University, the Netherlands as a Postdoctoral Researcher. I am a member of the Cognitive Sytems Research Group (formerly Affective and Visual Computing Lab).

I obtained my PhD degree in Computer Engineering from Yeditepe University, Turkey where I was also a Research and Teaching Assistant. My research interests include Machine Learning, Emotion Recognition, Human-Machine Interaction, Educational Computing, and Image Processing. During my PhD studies, I was a researcher in two Erasmus+ projects: Timeline Travel and EMBOA.
