Guidelines digital passport picture

Students at the UM have a UMcard. The portrait picture on this card must satisfy the following requirements:

Composition requirements

• you are easily identifiable in the photo
• the photo is recent
• the photo is in focus
• the photo is not stretched/distorted
• the photo is not rotated
• the photo is in colour or in black-and-white (no filters)
• your head is not covered (e.g., no caps or hats allowed; religious head coverings are allowed)

Technical requirements

• file type: JPG, JPEG
• maximum file size: 10MB

• minimal 150 dpi; 177 x 237 pixels (w x h: 30 x 40 mm)
