Below you can find the UM SPORTS membership rates of the academic year 2023-2024.
Some groups are entitled to a discount. In the overviews below you can find out which discount category you fit into.
Category 1: UM students;
Category 2: UM employees and PhD students;
Category 3: UM-alumni, partners of UM employees who are members, students Hogeschool Zuyd, MBO Maastricht and other MBO/HBO/WO students and high school students (16+), SenUM members, external members of a student sports association and off-peak members (09.00-16.00h);
Category 4: Other.
Important information about our rates
- The table below shows the applicable fees from 1 September 2023 for the 2023-2024 academic year;
- You can take out a monthly subscription at any time;
- For the 2023-2024 academic year, you only can subscribe for a semester membership in the first semester (which runs until 31 January 2024);
- For the 2023-2024 academic year, you can take out an annual subscription until 31 August 2024;
- All subscription fees are collected monthly by direct debit;
- A monthly subscription is cancellable monthly. A semester subscription can be cancelled by 1 February 2024 (end of semester). An annual subscription can be cancelled by 1 September 2024 (end of academic year);
- If you do not take action to renew your annual or semester subscription, the subscription form will automatically change to a (more expensive) monthly subscription (with the exception of benVitaal members);
- Without a subscription, you can also exercise at UM SPORT: for €10.00 you can buy a day pass that allows you to participate in group lessons, play squash and/or exercise in the gym for a whole day;
- A monthly membership does not allow you to join a student sports club or get a discount at the Geusseltbad or Padel Plaza and it does not allow you to participate in courses.
