Student Idea Competition
Each year the Student Project Team organises the Student Idea Competition where you can pitch your idea to a jury of experts at Maastricht University (UM) and win up to €400 to kick-start your idea and make it a reality.
The aim of the Student Idea Competition is to improve student life at the UM. However, this can be interpreted broadly. Ideas can range from helping students set up a company to students providing workshops to refugees: everything is possible. What is important is that the idea is original and that it will have a lasting effecting on student life at the UM.
When you enter the Student Idea Competition and your idea is selected for the finale you will be given two workshops that will help you get your idea on paper and prepare you for your final pitch.
During the finale you will be able to present your idea before a jury of experts. The team or person with the best idea will win €400; the second-best idea will win €200.
