Speaking fluent and understandable Dutch
Would you like to speak Dutch more confidently and be better understood? Do you have at least A2 level and want to take your speaking skills to the next level? Then register for the ‘Speaking fluent and understandable Dutch’ course!
What to expect?
In this practice-oriented course, you will work thematically on your pronunciation, tempo, intonation and sentence structure. You practice weekly with varied and interactive activities, such as:
- Speaking games
- Language acts and role plays
- Short listening and speaking assignments
Your homework will consist of listening exercises, extracurricular assignments and recorded speaking assignments.
Topics:
- Ordering in a café or restaurant
- Checking out at the cash register or at the market
- A conversation at the doctor's
- Informal conversations and small talk
- Making an appointment (formal and informal)
- Communicating at work and on the go
Feedback and certificate
There is no assessment, but you will receive continuous feedback on your speaking assignments, including twice individual feedback. If you attend at least 6 of the 7 classes, you will receive a certificate of participation.
