Professional career history
Šejla Imamović holds a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts from University College Maastricht (honours) and an LL.M. in European Law from Maastricht University (cum laude).
Šejla started her PhD in September 2013. She has previously worked as a teaching assistant at the University College in Maastricht and as a research assistant and researcher at the Law Faculty in Maastricht. Her PhD research is entitled “The place of national courts in the new European fundamental rights landscape”.
Šejla has published a number of articles in journals such as European Law Review and European Journal of Human Rights. She is a scholar of the Maastricht Centre for European Law and a member of the Ius Commune Research School.
