Op 28 januari ontving Konrad Kollnig, universitair docent aan het Law & Tech Lab van de Faculteit der Rechtsgeleerdheid, de Stefano Rodotà Award. In zijn thesis deed hij een technologisch en juridisch onderzoek naar mobiele apps om de gegevensbescherming in de praktijk te verbeteren.

An international consortium of nine partners that includes the Faculty of Law was awarded a € 562,951 grant from the European Commission’s DG-JUST to carry out DIGI-GUARD. 

On 23 February, our speaker is Alexandra Xanthaki, Professor of Laws, Brunel University London, UN Special Rapporteur in the field of Cultural Rights - Lecture Title : "Cultural rights of forced migrants: The forgotten rights".
