… 11 AM, the FPN Green Team recruited a group of 17 volunteers from various faculties from the university gathered at Griendpark for a trash pickup initiative. The cleanup focused on the riverside area of the park, as well as the space in front of the Complex stairs, where cigarette butts and beer lids were particularly abundant. Reflecting on the day, we noted a few improvements for next time, such as providing extra gloves and trash grabbers to accommodate more participants and make it easier to collect hard-to-reach litter.
