Robert-Jan Sips
Robert-Jan has 15 years of experience applying Artificial Intelligence to real-life problems. At myTomorrows, Robert applies his experience to use Artificial Intelligence to help patients and doctors find treatment options after exhausting the standard of care. Robert is a regular speaker and guest lecturer on Artificial Intelligence.
At IBM, he led the Benelux Center for Advanced Studies in the Benelux and later Europe, where he worked in close collaboration with clients and academia to bring new technology to the problems of industry and performed fundamental research in the (medical) domain adaptation of AI Systems (IBM Watson).
He led the setup of Collaborative Innovation Centers with Delft University of Technology and VU University Amsterdam, with whom he jointly educated (the next generation of) professionals, on the foundations of Artificial Intelligence (our award-winning Watson Innovation Course).
