R.G. Gianni

Robert is Assistant Professor at the department of Philosophy. As a social and political philosopher, Robert works on the relationship between democracy and the role of emerging technologies. His research interests focus on understanding how these two poles interact and how democratic principles can be reinvigorated by strengthening inclusiveness. 

He is a scientific and ethics expert for the European Commission and the Eureka network, as well as advisor for different projects at the national and European level. 

Robert has worked on several European projects in the field of ethical governance and security studies, acquiring over €1M for research in the past years.
