WSP Research
The department WSP accommodates two research sections: Applied Social Psychology and Work and Organisational Psychology. Although both groups have their own research lines, the combination of the two sections offers excellent opportunities for synergy, such as applying social psychological theories (in particular knowledge about interventions for behaviour change) in organisational settings (e.g., health promotion in the workplace). On the other hand, knowledge from the domain of work and organisational psychology is important to understand how people work, and how organisations function (and develop), in order to influence the impact of these aspects on individual behaviour.
