Dr Robert Suurmond (R.)

Robert Suurmond is Associate Professor in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management at Maastricht University, School of Business and Economics (SBE). Robert received his PhD from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Dr. Suurmond studies capabilities to manage knowledge between organizations in complex supply networks, and therein the role of leadership, technology, and innovation. His work has appeared in various journals including Production and Operations Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, and other scholarly and managerial outlets. He teaches (global) supply chain management and international relations across all levels.
