CPD Teaching Observation & Exchange Trajectory 2025-2026
Kick-off event: Teaching Observation & Exchange Trajectory 2025-2026
At UM, CPD is more than just following workshops, it’s about learning through experience and exchange. One great way to grow is by observing a colleague’s teaching or teaching materials, or getting feedback on your own.
By signing up for ExchangED, you’ll pair up (or form small groups) to observe each other’s teaching or review teaching materials like tutorial tasks, assessments or course design. Whether you’re looking for fresh ideas or constructive input, especially in light of current factors like generative AI, the Smarter Academic Year or more focus on meaningful assessment, this is a flexible and time-efficient way to reflect and improve.
Join the kick-off session to meet potential partners, learn how it to get the most out of your observations and set shared goals. You’ll then have the rest of the academic year to complete the exchange, followed by an invitation to a closing session to reflect and share what you’ve learned.
Prior participants found this process both meaningful and manageable. Why not join and see where a fresh perspective can take your teaching?
