Let’s make research and teaching work together!
Would you like to strengthen the connection between your teaching and research? Do you already integrate research into your teaching, but find it challenging to bring more of your teaching into your research? Or do you have experience with both and want to share your insights with colleagues?
Join us for a lunch session at EDLAB! In this interactive session, we’ll explore practical ways to connect research and education, share insights from our work, and discuss both challenges and opportunities. Whether you're seeking inspiration, struggling to balance research and teaching, or eager to exchange experiences, this is a great opportunity to connect over lunch.
This workshop is part of the EDLAB innovation project, Mend the Gap – exploring the teaching-research continuum. The project aims to better understand the relationship between research and teaching, based on literature and interviews with over 20 UM staff. It seeks to capture perceptions, draft best practices, and share them with the UM community.
What is in it for you?
You can count this session towards your professional development hours while learning about practices to bridge your teaching and research responsibilities. At the end of the session, you will know what the important aspects of this bridging work are and how to successfully implement them in your own work. Accessibility: At EDLAB, we strive to make our activities as accessible as possible and do our best to make accommodations when possible. Please contact us for more information.
