The Heart Foundation has awarded research grants to twelve talented researchers, six of whom are affiliated with Maastricht UMC+/Maastricht University. 

New research from Queensland University has highlighted that standing more during work hours positively affects one’s psychological well-being.

By recognising blood poisoning on time, while still in the ambulance, the chance of survival significantly increases in an unhealthy situation. That is the conclusion of doctoral research conducted by internist/researcher Lianne Roest from Maastricht UMC+.

During the fortieth Dies Natalis celebrations on 11 January, the Wynand Wijnen Education Prize was awarded to Dr. Anja Krumeich for her involvement in establishing the Master of Global Health.
