What did the big bang look like
Billions of years ago, the universe was created after the Big Bang. You might think of an explosion with lots of light and sound, but in reality everything was pitch black. And that makes it pretty difficult to find out exactly what happened. In this podcast (in Dutch) from the University of the Netherlands, physicist Gideon Koekoek explains how in the future we may be able to capture the very beginning with gravitational waves.
