UM ranks 173rd in the QS World University Rankings
Maastricht University ranks 173rd in this year’s QS World University Rankings, showing a slight decrease compared to last year (place 169). In relation to the other Dutch universities, UM’s 9th position remains the same. The results were published on 6 September 2016.
The QS World University Rankings are based on five indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, student-to-staff ratio, internationalisation and citations per faculty. Corresponding to its international profile, Maastricht University ranks especially high on internationalisation, and the citations per faculty slightly increased compared to last year’s rankings.
