‘Revalidatiefonds’ grant for COAD study
The ‘Revalidatiefonds’ awarded a grant for a subproject of the COAD study to Prof. Rob Smeets and Laura Beckers of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.
The aim of the COAD study is to test the effectiveness of an implicit and explicit bimanual home-based training programme for children with Cerebral Palsy (CP).
The contribution of € 12,609 makes it possible to perform an extensive process evaluation of the interventions and to qualitatively investigate their effect on parental stress. This contributes substantially to the development of evidence based home-based training programmes that can be implemented in clinical practice.
