Professor Stephane Heymans receives ESC Outstanding Achievement Award 2015
On Sunday August 30, the ESC Council on Basic Cardiovascular Science will hand over the Outstanding Achievement Award 2015 to Professor Stephane Heymens (Dept. of Cardiology). With this award the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) honors two basic researchers with outstanding accomplishments in the early stage of their career. The award will be presented at the annual ESC Congress 2015 in London.
Professor of Cardiomyopathies Stephane Heymans is Head of Laboratory for Heart Failure Research (www.hfresearch.eu), a unique care and research programme for unexplained heart failure.
