On 10-11 September 2020, the University of Maribor is hosting a conference on the "Diversity of Enforcement Titles in cross-border Debt Collection in the EU".

The aim of this conference is to exchange views on the legal and practical difficulties caused by the diversity of enforcement titles in several Member States of the EU. This conference takes place after an extensive mapping exercise on the specifics of enforcement titles in all Member States covered by the EU-funded project European Enforcement for Us (EU4s).

M-EPLI member Marta Pertegás coordinates the participation of Maastricht University to this two-year project. We contributed with the national reports for The Netherlands (authored by Bartosz Sujecki) and Belgium (authored by Mateus Rys). On behalf of the Maastricht team, Bartosz Sujecki will present a comparative paper on the structure of judgments at the conference held in Portoroz (Slovenia). Due to the current pandemic-related restrictions, we will join this 2-day event online.
