New legal status for civil servants
To the extent possible, civil servants will have the same rights as company employees, according to the ‘Wet normalisering rechtspositie ambtenaren’. Under the Act, civil servants will be covered by private labour law just like public sector employees.
The act comes into force on 1 January 2020.
