Jan de Roder appointed as jury member P.C. Hooftprijs 2020
FasoS staff member Jan de Roder has been appointed as a member of the jury of the P.C. Hooftprijs 2020. The yearly P.C. Hooftprijs is one of the most important literary prizes in the Netherlands, awarded alternately for prose, poetry, and essayistic writing.
Jan de Roder is very pleased with his new appointment. “What is so interesting about this task is discovering for instance the rise of the female essayist in the past five to ten years”. This year the prize was awarded to Marga Minco for her prose, next year the prize will be awarded to an essayist.
