E. Muir heard in EP public hearing

MCEL member Elise Muir was being heard by the Committee on Petitions of the European Parliament on February 23rd.

The public hearing was entitled: "Taking Citizens' concerns seriously: broadening the scope of the EU Charter on Fundamental Rights (Article 51)?" and built upon a critical report by Professor Spaventa on the dilemma of stricter or broader application of the Charter to national measures.
