The common European asylum system: vulnerable asylum applicants
This book focuses on the recast Common European Asylum System (CEAS) and the rights of vulnerable asylum applicants in the asylum procedure. I analyze whether the legal standards that stem from the recast CEAS legislative acts with regard to vulnerable asylum applicants, in particular with regard tovictims of tortureand unaccompaniedminors, are in accordance with international human rights law, and whether these legal standards have been adequately implemented at the national level.
