4th European Environmental Law Forum (EELF) Annual Conference 2016
Two fellows from Metro, Dr Mariolina Eliantonio and Prof Dr Marjan Peeters, have presented at the 4th European Environmental Law Forum (EELF) Annual Conference 2016 that focused on "Procedural Environmental Rights: Principle X in Theory and Practice". This event took place on 14-16 September 2016 in Wrocław, Poland. Mariolina Eliantonio presented – together with Dr Franziska Grashof and Prof Chris Backes on the different methods to achieve effective judicial protection in environmental litigation. Marjan Peeters focused on the meaning of the right of access to environmental information where it concerns information held by climate scientists. The EELF conference was attended by more than 100 scholars across europe and even from outside Europe, which illustrates that EELF is an an important forum for sharing research efforts.
