Jonas Heller (J.)

Jonas Heller is Assistant Professor at the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. He studied International Business: Supply Chain Management at Maastricht University, and holds a PhD in Digital Marketing from the University of New South Wales in Australia. Prior to his current position he worked as an inhouse consultant and special logistics services manager at Zalando SE. He teaches bachelor courses in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, master courses in Supply Chain Management, as well in the MBA program.

His research focuses on emerging technologies (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality) in retailing environments. He investigates the impact of AR/VR on consumer decision making, retailers’ ROI, as well as how emerging technologies can contribute to consumer well-being (e.g. healthy eating, pension engagement). He is the co-founder and scientific director of the DEXLab.

He has published in journals such as the Journal of Retailing, the Journal of Service Research, Computers in Human Behavior, and the Journal of Interactive Marketing.
