"Innovation unchained Collaboration and data analytics for novel digital products and services"

While firms are increasingly aware of the importance of collaboration for digital innovation, internal (closed) innovation still dominates in the development of new products, services, and processes. Also firms face difficulties implementing data analytics methods, which is problematic for digital innovation, given the propensity of digital technologies to generate (big) data. This creates a need for a better understanding of the relation between collaboration, data analytics, and digital innovation. This dissertation addresses this issue by investigating how organizations can collaborate and analyze data generated by digital innovations to capture value.
