Official opening LINK Institutes MERLN and M4I

On 8, 9 and 10 September the LINK Institutes MERLN and M4I will celebrate their official opening with a dynamic and varied programme under the theme 'The fabric of science'.

Science Day and Valorization Day
On Thursday 8 September 2016 as of 9.00 hrs, we invite leading scientists from the Netherlands and abroad to our “Science Day”. On Friday 9 September 2016 starting from 9.00 hrs. we invite leaders of the business community from the Netherlands and abroad to our “Valorization Day”. These days will not be the typical symposia of a line-up of talks; visitors can expect an interactive programme of pop-up presentations, pitches, displays and demonstrations, and even a bit of surgery.

Location: Both days will take place at the AINSI, Lage Kanaaldijk 112-113 Maastricht. 

 Please note: the Science Day and the Valorization Day are on invitation only.

Open Day – everyone welcome!
On Saturday 10 September the LINK Institutes will open their doors to the public. During this day, everyone is welcome to learn about the MERLN and M4I research. We will show some of our most inspiring research, give guided tours through the labs, virtual experiences, meet the professor and set up various displays and demonstrations. MadScience will take care of the kids with spectacular demonstrations and Make&Take funstations. The open day will take place from 10.00-15.00 hrs. in in the central hall of the Maastricht University Campus in Randwyck, Universiteitssingel 40.

The LINK Institutes are established thanks to the initiative of the Province of Limburg and Brightlands Health Campuses. Situated at the Maastricht Health Campus, The MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine develops novel and complex technologies to advance the field of tissue and organ repair and regeneration. The Maastricht MultiModal Molecular Imaging Institute (M4I) is a molecular imaging institute that brings together a powerful palette of high-end, innovative imaging technologies.
