M4i Mass Spectrometry Imaging Workshop
Join a 5-day workshop at M4i and learn more about Mass Spectrometry Imaging fundamentals (MALDI, DESI, REIMS, SIMS) as well as the latest on MALDI imaging, including sample preparation and data analysis.
There will be multiple practical sessions where you will gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art mass spec facility.
What is Mass Spectrometry Imaging?
Mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) integrates mass spectrometric analyses of biomolecules with concurrent histological assessment to examine intact proteins, tryptic peptides (on-tissue tryptic digest), N-glycans (on-tissue PNGase digest), peptides, lipids, metabolites, drug molecules, and drug metabolites with spatial resolution.
Who is this workshop for?
Everybody who’s getting started in mass spectrometry imaging and wants to connect deeper with the MSI world.
Maastricht MultiModal Molecular Imaging Institute (M4i) is a state-of-the art international institute that brings together a powerful palette of innovative molecular imaging technologies. Its mission is to perform fundamental, instrumentation and applied studies in molecular imaging as part of a translational, synergistic, interdisciplinary research program that attracts top researchers from across the world.
