Get ready to break the ice or shake up the system in your tutorial groups by joining this icebreaker and educational games showcase. Join us at EDLAB for an informal session where you’ll have the opportunity to try out and share your thoughts on various icebreaker activities and educational games. Please bring your own materials and/or icebreakers if you want to so we can share ideas and practice together.
This session includes a lunch. After registration please inform us about any dietary requirements.
Learning outcomes:
- Learn more about different icebreakers or educational games that are suitable for your teaching and learning at UM,
- Practise and discuss the use of (your preferred) icebreakers together with colleagues,
- Share ideas on the implementation of various icebreakers or games in your education.
About the trainers
The session will be moderated by Arie van der Lugt (FPN) and Eveline Persoon (EDLAB), two colleagues who together can talk about icebreakers, gamification of education and building up group dynamics in education for several hours straight.
