Human Rights - Steel or Chewing Gum?
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is celebrating its 75th anniversary. Are the rights contained in it still relevant today? Can they be applied to climate injustice or online challenges, for example? Are they a Western construct or something truly universal?
This year's human rights lecture will debunk some of the myths about human rights and show how they can be as solid as steel, yet as flexible as chewing gum.
