Europe Calling! Citizens' Summit: Regional round table Maastricht - student debate
In the run-up to the Citizens’ Summit on 6 May, Regional round table meetings will be held in the Dutch province of Limburg, the Belgian province of Limburg, Aachen and Liège. How can we improve Europe and the Euroregion? How can we bring Europe closer to its citizens? How can we make it more tangible? That is what we want to debate. In other words, this is the perfect opportunity to make a difference and to contribute to the development of this region and our continent. In preparation we ask everyone to fill out our online questionnaire: it constitutes the basis for the regional round tables.
Maastricht will host the special Student Debate on January 21st. For this we are aiming to bring together a vast number of students. Students from Maastricht and Heerlen, but also from other cities in the Euregion. We are aiming to get listings from all 28 member states of the EU to have a real broad European interaction.
The Student Debate will be in English and will take place in the Maastricht School of Management (MSM). The program will start at 9:30/10:00 and the event will end at 15:30 in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided.
