Cinema Dada

Film concert on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the dada movement. The concert involves the presentation of three iconic Dadaist films, accompanied by Kevin Toma (piano & electronics). 

Short films with live music. 60 minutes.

• Emak Bakia 
A ‘cinepoem’ by Man Ray, one of the greatest artists in the American avant-garde. 

• Ballet Mécanique 
Repetition, movement, and multiple imagery animate the clockwork structure of everyday life.

• Entr'acte 
Written as an intermission piece, but now a true classic, featuring cameos by Francis Picabia, Erik Satie, Man Ray and Marcel Duchamp.
