Workshop themes
Workshop 2: Spelling and grammar II; at sentence level
Try to make it as easy as possible for the reader to understand your text after reading it once. Don't make it more difficult than necessary. How can you do that? During the workshop, we will give you some tips on how to write as clearly as possible at sentence and text level. This will also make your text more attractive to your reader. Of course, we will practice by rewriting sentences in which you immediately apply what you have learned. We will also pay attention to the structure of texts.
Workshop 3: writing a clear argument
Do you always think so long before you write something down? Or do you just start somewhere and then get lost? If you want to tackle this problem now, you should take this short workshop!
To clearly express your proposal, note or argument in writing, it is important to follow a well-structured approach. In this workshop, we offer you a short and clear step-by-step plan in 4 stages: from orientation on your target group and text purpose, to the design of your argumentation structure. From the formulation of your arguments, to the rewriting phase where you dot the i's and cross the t's.
The experienced tutor supports your approach with practical assignments and constructive feedback. After the workshop, you will have effective tools to deliver a clear argument.
Workshop 4: Business Writing
During your studies or work, you regularly write texts for different audiences. As a communicator within your study or department, you have the responsibility to communicate effectively and reach your readers. Would you like to refresh your approach or change your tone? Then this Business Writing workshop will surely inspire you.
We practice aspects such as the right tone and the best form. And by doing the language assignments together with your fellow course members, a lively, interactive atmosphere is created in which you learn with and from each other. We will also do a creative exercise that will boost your enjoyment of writing. The expert tutor will guide the workshop with immediate feedback and provide useful tips, also for online writers.
