Chloé de Mortier studied Biology at Wageningen University (2018), where she obtained a second-degree qualification as a biology teacher for secondary education. She then successfully completed her master's degree in Health Biology with a focus on infectious diseases (Wageningen, 2021). In her thesis she studied the influence of the Langat virus on the behaviour of ticks.  During the graduation internship, she looked at the impact of the corona pandemic on the inhabitants of North & East Gelderland at the GGD. It looked at trend changes in lifestyle, mental well-being, and compliance with the measures for people of different educational backgrounds. Recently she started her PhD trajectory within the SHE and HSR school, in collaboration with the knowledge institute of the federation of medical specialists. In this, she will develop training about clinical practice guideline development for guideline panel members. In doing so, she will look at how Health Technology Assessment can become a more active part of guideline development.
