T. Van Overbeke

Toon Van Overbeke is Assistant Professor of Europe Climate and Digital Society at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of Maastricht University. He is a political economist interested in understanding the interaction between politics, institutions and structural socio-economic changes such as automation and the climate transition. Toon is also a Visiting Fellow at London School of Economics and Political Science. 

Toon completed his doctoral training at the London School of Economics and Political Science's European Institute. He also holds an masters from that same institution as well as a MA and BA in History from the KU Leuven in Belgium.
