Saara Hammar (S.S.A.)
PhD Researcher at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology
Saara's research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and criminal liability. She completed her master's degree in Forensics, Criminology and Law at Maastricht University, graduating with honours in 2024. She also possesses a minor in Business and Law, obtained during her European Law School bachelor's program.
During spring 2024, she completed an interdisciplinary project aimed at determining which approaches promote safety and foster dialogue surrounding recreational drug use among young individuals. While her primary focus in on criminal law, Saara also maintains an interest in European business law.
