Er dreigde een capaciteitsprobleem te ontstaan waardoor de kwaliteit van het onderwijs in het geding kwam. Ook de accreditatiecommissie vond de studentenaantallen destijds te hoog. Voor dit jaar was het maximaal aantal studenten (400) geselecteerd waarvan er uiteindelijk maar 175 studenten zijn ingestroomd.
