Elena Marchese

Elena Marchese is a post-doctoral researcher in philosophy of law at Bocconi University (Milan, Italy). She obtained her PhD, cum laude, at Tarello Institute for Legal Philosophy (Genoa University, Italy). During her doctoral research she was a visiting scholar at Girona University (Spain). Her scientific interests are focused on truth theories, evidence theory, judicial epistemology and legal argumentation. She worked also at Ferrara University, Padua University, Bergamo University. From 2016, Elena is also teaching a Critical Thinking course at Bocconi University.
Simona Trocino

Simona Trocino is a PhD student in Philosophy of Law (PhD Program in Legal Studies “Cesare Beccaria”) at the University of Milan. She obtained her Master’s degree in law with a thesis in Law and Bioethics at the University of Milan. In her PhD dissertation she is working on the legal characterization of experts and the relationship between experts and the judge. She is also a Teaching Assistant at the Bocconi University of Milan in Philosophy of Law and Critical Thinking.
