YERUN Open Science Awards 2024: Call for applications

The call for the YERUN Open Science Awards 2024 is officially open! The Young European Research Universities Network extends a warm invitation to researchers and staff from Maastricht University and other member universities to submit their applications.

The YERUN Open Science Awards recognise the pioneering efforts of individuals and teams across the YERUN network in advancing Open Science practices. These awards highlight impactful projects that embody the principles of transparency, accessibility, and collaboration in research and beyond. 

Whether you are a researcher, a member of the administrative staff, or part of a professional services team, this award celebrates your contribution to making Open Science a reality. 

Initiatives can be led individually or collaboratively and must embody innovative approaches to fostering Open Science.

How to apply?

  • The online application form for the YERUN Open Science Awards should be filled out by an individual involved in the initiative.  

  • To apply, please follow this link to access the YERUN Open Science Awards application platform. 

 

The 2024 call is open from 3 December 2024 until 13 January 2025 at 10:00 AM CET. Winners will be announced in February 2025.

What’s in it for the winners?

 

  • Winners will receive a grant of €2,000 for their institution or department.

  • Up to five initiatives will be awarded, with winners invited to showcase their work at a YERUN event in February 2025. 

  • All eligible initiatives will be highlighted on the YERUN website and newsletter.
