The final report of AHRC project with Sheffield has been published

The final report of the join AHRC Classical Music Network, a joint project between the Sheffield Performer & Audience Research Centre (SPARC) and MCICM, is now available.

During this poject, the network aimed to understand how classical music forms part of the arts scence in different cities including Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds and Liverpool in the UK, Graz, Austria and Groningen, the Netherlands. 

The final report includes highlights of the findings from each city as well as overlapping themes and problems. The report is available in English, Dutch and German and can be downloaded directly in the network website.

We would like to thank the research network team: Karen Burland, Kirsty Devaney, Karolien Dons, Emily Doolittle, Laura Hogg, Karoly Molina, Jennie Joy Porton, Sarah Price and Constanze Wimmer; our advisory board members, as well as participants who took part in the surveys and inteviews.
