Do you want to develop all the skills you need for a successful career? Are you looking for support to further develop your competences? Would you like to learn how to present yourself when applying for a job? UM Career Services can help you.

With us, you will develop skills for your studies and beyond, prepare for what comes after you graduate, and discover what makes you truly happy. You can participate up to six months after you graduate. Zainab Syeda is one of the students who enjoys working at UM Career Services and the department Personal & Professional Development.

I came across the student job at UM Career Services on Instagram and applied immediately. During a Quick Career Advice or walk-in, I help students present themselves in the best possible way in their CV, cover letter or LinkedIn profile. I do this both online and offline, so I meet many different people. It's a really fun way to gain practical experience.”

I would definitely recommend Career Services to other students. Through their workshops, I have learned essential and relevant skills. Additionally, my time as an employee has equipped me with invaluable competencies for my intended career path. Engaging with inspirational people has not only broadened my perspective but also deepened my self-awareness. Thanks to this experience, I now have a clearer vision of my post-study aspirations, facilitating a quicker transition into the professional world!"
