Go out and vote
Municipal elections will be held in the Netherlands from 14 to 16 March. Naturally, these polls will be overshadowed by the war in Ukraine, which points up the importance of doing your democratic duty and making your voice heard.
So, cast your vote and help shape Maastricht's future, for your sake and for the next generation of students.
Foreign students coming from an EU country are allowed to vote if they are registered in a Dutch municipality. Students from outside the EU may vote if they reside in the Netherlands legally for an uninterrupted period of 5 years.
