Admissions

Each year, a limited number of students is admitted to the Master's Honours Research Track; only students enrolled at the Faculty of Law can apply. Students are selected on the basis of their motivation, their research interest and above-average grades. You can apply for the programme by submitting:

• your CV
• a letter of motivation
• your academic transcript (incl. period 1 grades) and
• an example of your legal writing (in English, for instance a paper or thesis written at the bachelor’s stage).

Students enrolled in the two-year master’s programme in International Laws can also take part in the Honours programme. They can spend their third semester abroad taking courses relevant to their research.

The application dates for the 2026/27 academic year are as follows: 

• Application deadline: Friday 20 November 2026, 23.59.
• Selection interviews: Wednesday 9 December 2026, 10.00-17.00

An information session will be organised on Wednesday 4 November 2026 at 10.30. The location will be announced later.
