Experience Day - European Law School (on campus)
During an Experience Day, you will receive more information about the European Law School programme and Problem-Based Learning (PBL). You will experience what it is like to be a law student and participate in a tutorial group. Guided by a tutor, you will work on a case. This will allow you to get familiar with the educational system and the study material.
During the on campus Experience Day, our student ambassadors will take you to locations such as the Law Café, the university library, and the Student Service Center (SSC).
The Experience Day is a unique opportunity to find out what it is like to study law in Maastricht!
For whom?
This day is meant for high school students (equivalent to the Dutch VWO 6) and students of a University of Applied Sciences (HBO) who preferably have already attended an Open Day at our faculty.
Programme
11.00 - 11.30 hrs: Study programme presentation
11.30 - 12.15 hrs: Working on a case study part 1
12.15 - 12.45 hrs: Break
12.45 - 13.30 hrs: Working on a case study part 2
13.30 - 14.00 hrs: Tour
14.00 - 14.30 hrs: Q&A and evaluation
Preparation
For this day, we ask you to prepare by watching some videos and going through a case study. You can find more information and the reading materials on the Experience Day page.
