On-Site Inaugural lecture Prof. Dr. Milena I. Pavlova

Title of the lecture: "Towards robust and fair global health systems: old challenges in new realities"

Milena Pavlova has been appointed as Full professor - Specialized remit, chair Health Economics and Equity at Maastricht University. Her future research will focus on fostering the equity insights into the health economics field, including the appraisal of decision-making behind the allocation of healthcare resources, services and products. She will also add to the international orientation of CAPHRI and the Value-based Health Care program, by exploring accessibility and affordability problems in the health systems of high- and low-income countries. She will remain closely involved in teaching subjects such health economics, financial management and health technological innovations.
