UM chair Rianne Letschert nominated as informateur
Rianne Letschert, chair of the UM Executive Board, has been nominated as informateur by the political party D66. If the House of Representatives approves the nomination on Wednesday, Rianne Letschert will, in the coming weeks, as informateur contribute to the next step in forming a new cabinet in the Netherlands.
The new informateur's work is expected to last until the end of January at the latest. Until then, Rianne Letschert will keep her work for UM to a minimum. After her weeks as informateur, she will resume her duties as chair of UM's Executive Board in full.
UM's Supervisory Board has approved Rianne Letschert's temporary appointment.
