Oral presentation award for Geneviève van Liere
On 17 September Geneviève van Liere received the oral presentation award for her talk on anogenital chlamydia.
Her presentation was based on the abstract: 'High proportion of anorectal Chlamydia trachomatis in STI clinic women after routine universal urogenital and anorectal screening'.
She received the award during the 30th IUSTI European Congress, which was held 15-17 September in Budapest. IUSTI stands for International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections.
Geneviève currently works as infectious diseases epidemiologist at GGD Zuid Limburg. In December 2015 she successfully defended her PhD thesis.
